by - March 17, 2025

In a groundbreaking move, **Harvard University** has announced a major expansion of its **financial aid program**, aiming to make Ivy League education more accessible to students from diverse economic backgrounds. Starting in the 2025 academic year, the university will significantly increase aid packages, reducing the financial burden on low- and middle-income families.

Under the new plan, families earning less than **$85,000 annually** will no longer be required to contribute to tuition costs, while those earning up to **$150,000** will see reduced contributions. This initiative builds on Harvard’s longstanding commitment to affordability, ensuring that financial barriers do not hinder talented students from pursuing their dreams.

The expansion reflects Harvard’s mission to foster diversity and inclusion, empowering students to thrive academically without the weight of financial stress. As one of the world’s leading institutions, this move sets a powerful example for higher education globally.
