The activity began around 6:27 a.m. PST with a 3.7 magnitude quake, located approximately 2-4 miles southeast of San Ramon along the active Calaveras Fault. Additional quakes, including a 3.3 and reports of a 4.3, followed within minutes. No significant damage or injuries have been reported so far, but the shaking was widely felt in surrounding areas including Oakland, Dublin, and Pleasanton.
