Donald Trump, Jeffrey Epstein, and the Infamous Birthday Note
The relationship between Donald Trump and the late Jeffrey Epstein has once again entered the spotlight, this time with the public release of a controversial birthday note.
Key Facts:
The Note: The document is described as a "bawdy" birthday card from 2003, featuring a typewritten message surrounded by a hand-drawn outline of a naked woman.
The Signature & Drawing: A squiggly "Donald" is signed below the waist of the drawing.
Trump's legal team and allies have claimed the signature is a forgery and that he "doesn't draw pictures." The Context: The note was reportedly part of a 50th birthday album for Epstein, compiled by Ghislaine Maxwell, which also contained other messages from prominent figures.
Trump's Denial: Trump has repeatedly denied any involvement with the note, stating "These are not my words, not the way I talk.
Also, I don't draw pictures." He has previously acknowledged a social relationship with Epstein but says they had a "falling out" years ago.
Shareable Quote:
"Experts say Donald Trump's bold, angular signature reveals a desire for control and a rebellious streak. His public denial of the Epstein birthday note, and the subsequent lawsuit against the Wall Street Journal, add a new layer to the narrative of his public persona."
